RTB68 - Teacher's Pet

Hello there, blogland! :D

Another week has passed and you know what that means, it's time for another Raise the Bar Challenge. Before I begin that, I thought I'd show you a glimpse of my night yesterday. I got to spend the evening with this man below:

If you don't recognize him, that's Usher Raymond. The concert was held in Rogers Arena, Vancouver. The show was great and after listening to his music since I was a teenager, it was awesome to see him live in person.

This week's RTB Challenge is respectfully named Teacher's Pet. The Bar-tenders want to see all your school related projects.

Please note that all Bar-tenders will be taking a summer holiday from concocting all yummy flavours. ;) As noted below for your amusement, Raise the Bar Challenges are on hold and due to return August 5th, 2011. As this is our last challenge before the break, I would love to see you playing along with us!

RTB67 - In Honour of Memorial Day...

Happy Friday, fellow bloggers!

Although we don't celebrate Memorial Day in Canada, it's still the Queen's birthday and I have the Monday off from work as well. Yippie for a long weekend!

Over at Raise the Bar, we are thinking of all the ones whom have passed and are honouring memories. I made a sympathy card as those are the fewest cards I need (luckily) but are always good to have on hand. Thinking of you cards work too.

Eeks. Reconnection With the Internet World - RTB65 (Belated)

Oh dear! It's been awhile and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to post sooner. Lots of changes going 0n in my sweet lil apartment. My old roommate moved out and I had a new one move in. With the old, she also took along the cable and internet connection! lol I had no internet for almost 2 weeks. The great thing is that my new roommate is also a paper crafter so hopefully we have some fun with paper in the future!

I was able to take the photo below with my iPhone using 3G; but was unable to post it on my blog. If you play along with us at Raise the Bar, you would have seen it - but this is the first time I'm showing it on my own blog. :D This was for the flower power challenge RTB had a couple weeks ago:
