RTB63 - Nautical Themed

Ahoy there, mateys! Happy Earth Day to all out there. Remember to Recycle, Reduce and Reuse! ;)

This week at Raise the Bar, we're throwing a nautical party for all of our first mates! Come up with a creation with the theme of blue, white and strips! No land lovers this week. lol

I have been anxious to use this particular Cheeky girl from The Greeting Farm for awhile now and I'm so glad that I could finally pull her out and ink her up. She turned out so adorable!

Hope to see you playing along with us! If you upload to any online galleries, please label RTB63 for your keywords.

RTB62 - TREEmendous

Good morning and happy Monday, readers!

Yowza... lol between coming from work to a papercrafting session on Friday, a kid's birthday party and a craft fair on Saturday and then lots and lots of errands and catchup on Sunday, this post got lost in between. I hope that your weekend was a lot quieter! lol

This week at Raise the Bar, we want to see how tree-mendous your projects are for Earth Day.

As you can see from behind my card, April is bringing Vancouver a lot of rain showers!

Hope to see you playing along with us! If you upload to any online galleries, please label RTB62 for your keywords.

Hoot Hoot ATCs

Hello there! I hope your week is going well.

I got my laptop back... do you know what the "problem" ended up being? The AC adapter cord was shorted though the guy who first tested my laptop said it wasn't the adapter... *eyebrow lift* Uh huh.... I'm just glad to have my little Kylie back (Oh yes, my Toshiba Satellite has a name lol)

I wanted to show some ATCs that I made for a swap over at the Fiskateers Forum. I believe that there were 12 of us so I should be getting those back shortly. *crossing fingers* Any day now! They were fairly simple, but I wanted something bright.

Come back tomorrow for the Raise the Bar Challenge of the week :D

Supplies:
Stamps - Sassafras Lass, Viva Las Vegastamps, Stampin' Up!
Paper & Ink - Stampin' Up!
Accessories - rhinestone gems (Kaiser), leaf punch (Stampin' Up), circle punch (EK Success), Stickles glitter glue (Ranger)

They Say Bad Things Happen in 3s?

What would be the odds that my dishwasher, washing machine AND my laptop all decided to kick it in the past two weeks? Karma is kickin' my butt! lol

Luckily our landlady was quick to call the repair people and the dishwasher has been fixed, the washing machine is brand new and the laptop is currently being diagnosed. Thank goodness for the extended warranty that I purchased!

Now I'm looking for the 3 good things to happen! lol

RTB60 - April Showers...

Hello blog readers and happy Friday to you all!

It's been a looonnnggg week with a deadline at work that my colleagues and I have had to meet. By the time most of you read this, I'll probably be hard at work crunching in as much as I can! You don't know how awesome it was to make this card; it was nice to dip into my creative side.

So we've entered April (wow, did March fly by!) and what a better way than to start the month at Raise the Bar with a common theme of April Showers. We want to see all your weather related projects.

My theme for this card was to send it to a friend on a rainy-type kind of day:
