Too Many Things on the Go!

Just as the title says, too many things on the go, dear bloggers!

Just thought I'd drop by to say hello and show you this cute and funny photo. It made me laugh, the expression on the owl is priceless... and yes, it really is that cold in Vancouver right now (to wear a toque)! lol

I'll be back tomorrow with the Raise the Bar Challenge of the week.

Viva Las Vegastamps

Happy Valentine's Day!! Hoping that you have a great day whether you celebrate, are anti-Valentines or celebrate "Singles Awareness Day" :D

I thought I'd pop in with some photos of Viva Las Vegastamps in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now I've been hearing numerous things about this store over the years and I am SO thankful that Wayne (aka Stampo) opened up his doors to me as he normally isn't open during the weekends. The Beau and I had a good time while we were there and I had to limit myself to only stay for an hour!

The unmounted poker table... ($1 per or 12 for $10). It's like a treasure hunt of rubber! Dig deep! Oh I didn't even know that the Beau was sneaking around taking photos, I was too concentrated on finding my images LOL

The Calico Cat from Wonderland

Isn't this so bright and wildy awesome?

For all your Las Vegas stamping needs...

Thousands and thousands of stamps!

LOVE the coordinating ornaments that go with the stamps.

Yes, as geeky as this looks, I give Viva Las Vegastamps ... two thumbs up! LOL

RTB #53 - No Pink and Red Valentines

Hello and happy Friday to you all! I hope you've had a great week.

I've had to recover from my weekend in Vegas LOL! I can't believe the great weather we had (or the nice change it is from the current cold weather in Vancouver).

The challenge over at Raise the Bar this week is to
make a Valentine with NO pink or red.

This paper from Stampin' Up is sooo yummy and I'm glad I was able to use it in this week's challenge.

RTB #52 - Show Me Some Love!

Happy Friday to all of you, readers!!!

And of course, Happy Chinese New Year to all those who celebrate! In Vietnamese, we say "Chuc mung nam moi!"

Just a brief reminder that I'm currently in Vegas and have set this blog post to go live!! I have plans to stop by the Viva Las Vegas Stamp store, have any of you been?

The Raise the Bar Challenge for this week is to show the Team some love - make sure your image/focus point has a heart!

I've had these metal hearts sitting around since Michael's Valentine's clearance of last year so I finally had a chance to use them. My inspiration came from the Mojo Monday Challenge #174.

Hope to seeing you play along with us! If you upload to any online galleries, please label RTB52 for your keywords.

A Food Post - Guu

Good morning!

Just a quick post from me that isn't paper crafting related - but still considered an art - that is, cuisine artistry.

The Beau and I went to a Vancouver based restaurant (that has several different locations) called Guu over a week ago on a date night. It's Japanese tapas style cuisine and absolutely delicious!

We were lucky enough to sit in front of the Sashimi Bar Chef and got to watch him while he created this beautiful tower of yumminess! Also known as Maguro with Fire Colour Sauce.

Have a great day!
