27 Years

27 years ago, this little baby was born... Oh my how time flies!!! lol

I liked Care Bears then and still love them now. I haven't been posting much as I've been out and about with friends and I also have a full day lined up today. I'm having fun, but I can't wait to find the time to snuggle up with my laptop and catch up in the blogging world! ;)

My Official Day 3 Sneak Peek for Amber Ink

Hey there, friends!!!

Thanks for patiently waiting on my project! Pam (Incredimombo/the other half of Amber Ink) may kick me for this, but I had to take a "mental health day" off from paper crafting yesterday. I do this once in awhile so I don't get burnt out or my mojo doesn't disappear on me. I also had things I needed to do around the house and if I had raced to make a card last night, it would have been poop and nothing I would be proud of; do you know what I mean?

I hope you stopped by the other Torchbearers' blogs to see what they came up with. These baby mermaids were so fun to colour! How about that ipaper from Amber Ink; goes perfect with these cute mermaids.

The card has been entered for the following challenges:
The Pink Elephant- Ribbon and Sparkles
Totally Gorjuss- Aqua
Creative Cards Crew- Sparkle and Shine
Tuesday Taggers- Sea, Water or Boats
Treehouse Thursday Challenge - Under the Sea

Amber Ink - Day 2 Sneak Peeks - Back to School!

Happy Hump Day! It's midweek and the sneak peeks are coming out fast and furiously at the Amber Ink Torchbearers' blogs. lol Maybe I'm only speaking for myself! I'm having tons of fun creating with these Kiddos though.

Before I show you my creation, I wanted to give a shout out to my girl, Nicole Anderson!! {HI NICOLE!!! lol} I didn't know that she was the one that passed the Torch over to me until today and I wanted to say how grateful I am. If there was ever a time that my mojo was a no-go; I always clicked over to Nicole for motivation. Thank you to the amazing and fabulous Nicole!

It's Back to School!! I always remembered this being my favourite time of year... New school year, new clothes, new school supplies (mmm yummy!) and new friends! The hot pink dot Ipaper is from Amber Ink - I printed it off on sticky adhesive and applied it right down on the cardstock. :D When I first saw this image, I wanted to use school/Autumn colours, but I think this pink and green combo turned out quite well.

The layout I used comes from Mercy's latest sketch #87 as seen below:

See you tomorrow for Day 3 of peeks and don't forget the Release Day is this Friday, August 20th! HUGS.

RTB #31 - ABC... 123... lol

Woooooooooooohoooooooooo!!!! FRIDAY the 13th!!!! :D

I'm actually not superstitious; my roommate and I live on the 13th floor. lol

This week's challenge over at Raise the Bar is inspired by our ABCs:

A - animal
B - brown
C - clean and simple

I have been wanting to get this image since I saw Sherrie's card in person at my Copic certification in 2008. I don't know why I hmm'd and haw'd about it for so long but yay for finally making the purchase. It's SO perfect for masculine cards but the possibilities are limitless.

Hope to seeing you play along with us! If you upload to any online galleries, please label RTB31 for your keywords.

Best Fishes!

Howdy!! Hope your summer is going well. :D I finally was able to make some summery projects!

This particular set of ATCs was done for a swap at the Stamp Shack and the theme was "Under the Sea." Anytime I see this kind of swap come up, I can't help sign up because the possibilities are endless. I have so many different sea elements and as you can see here... my kitty is swimming with clown fish. All he needs is a pair of googles and he's good to go! lol

I'll be posting again tomorrow for the Raise the Bar Challenge of the week and I finally took a photo of my blog candy and will hopefully get it up on Saturday. Take care for now. :)

RTB Challenge - Pearl Girl

Another Friday already?! Hoorah!!!

I know I keep saying this every post, but summer is flying by, my friends! Michaels had their Autumn deocorations out a few weeks ago and I think just last week they were already starting their Halloween display. All the other stores have Back to School supplies all stocked and ready to go. Eep!

I'm trying to find the time to play with my new stuff, but that hasn't quite happened yet. Poor blog... not getting much love. Hugs to all of you who still stop by! ;)
This week's challenge over at Raise the Bar is Pearly Whites. Bring out all your pearls and come play along with us! If you upload to any online galleries, please label RTB30 for your keywords.

I wanted to make something soft and feminine with a hint of vintage flaire. ;)
