Whimsie Doodles Farewell Hop

Happy Hump Day!! lol Keep scrolling down to see my new creation and for further details of the Hop and Challenge.

Our newest members of the Whimsie Doodles design team start work tomorrow, but before we could let our original Doodlelicious Divas go, we had to have just one last blog hop! You should be hopping around gathering the letters from each of the 11 blogs below:

Once you gather all of your letters, you will have a discount code for 50% off of this adorable Sentiments-Edibles set in the Whimsie Doodles store!

The Hop also coincides with Nicole's PCP Challenge for this week with a "Missing You" theme. I also played along with this weeks Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge and the Oh Alice Challenge. Go check em all out if you want to play along or see amazing pieces of work!

I chose to go with a GOOD LUCK theme for my card because I wish nothing but the best for the old Doodlelicious Divas and the new!

In case you missed my letter - it's an L

I wanted to thank all the ladies on the Design Team for their inspiration, hard work and all the memories we shared over the last year. HUGS.

Raise The Bar Challenge and Exciting News!!!

Good Saturday morning to all of you!

Photobucket

I have some very exciting news to share with you all, although I'm a day late. lol The head honcho, Joni, over at Raise the Bar Challenge Blog asked me to join the Design Team! If you don't know of the RTB Challenges, each week there is something new to challenge you every Friday. I am so delighted to embark on this new journey and I hope to see you participating in some, if not all, of the challenges. ;)

The theme this week at RTB is "Evening" in light of the Eclipse release at the end of the month. I've been meaning to use Dressy Edward for the last few months, but he's been sitting there for months, uncoloured. Oops!

Well here he is now, looking as handsome as ever. lol Do you see those gorgeous flourishes?! Those are one of the new Tim Holtz Sizzix dies and I love them so! I've been looking for the right set of flourish dies for awhile and these are perfect.

I hope to see you joining us over at Raise the Bar, if not this week, then sometime in the future. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by to see me today

Supplies:
Stamps - Dressy Edward, Cake Topper (TGF)

Ink - Colorbox (Clearsnap), Versafine (Tsukineko)

Rooster Up and what I did on Father's Day

Oops. I did that thing where I said I'd be back the next day and wasn't! Well, I hope your week is going well so far - it's almost the weekend again!!! lol

This was the card I gave my dad on Father's Day... we had a beautiful day of fishing as you can see below. Our limit was 6 fish (2 to each person) and we made it!!! The first photo is Beau's back and the gorgeous lake.

The photo below is of course my dad. From my earliest memories of him, he was always a fisherman. Every weekend he always came home smelling if the lakes and fish. lol Perhaps not quite the most pleasant smell, but I always associated it with my dad ya know?

I hope you had a great Father's Day weekend with your dads out there. Thanks for stopping by today, your comments always make me smile.

Supplies:
Stamps, Paper, Ink - Stampin Up
Accessories - Nestabilities (Spellbinders), embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels), brads (Making Memories)

Pretty Cool - TFG's Farm Fresh Friday

Happy Wednesday... woo hoo it's midweek!

I'm a little tardy with posting as I mentioned I'd be back early this week, but my head has been elsewhere! I'm not even going to get into that... I'm just hoping that it will be in its right place soon. lol

I played along with Farm Fresh Friday this past week over at The Greeting Farm and I'm quite happy with how my card turned out. I got the Roll Call kit while it was on pre-sale, but didn't have the chance to play until now. I think that Jade is my favourite girl in the set. :D

This week's challenge was a fab sketch from Mercy Kerin. If you wish to play along, check out this post over at TGF for details. Have a fantastic day!

Ink - Colorbox (Clearsnap), Whisper White (Stampin Up)

I am so happy to announce that I am one of the Guest Designers this week over at Raise the Bar! This week's theme was "Sweet Music" and originally I had the idea to use vintage sheet music and birds but found my stash of "Live Loud" from Imaginisce and just HAD to make a card using it!

Did you notice in the close up photo that he has the word "music" between his antennae?! SO CUTE. lol

To see more inspiration from the Designers, check out the Raise the Bar Challenge blog. Have a fantastic weekend and I will see you early next week!

Happy Thursday, one day away from Friday!!! LOL How's your week going?

Mine's going by pretty quickly! I can't believe it's Thursday already! I had a couple of friends who just had babies and I needed to make cards to go with gifts. Luckily Whimsie Doodles latest release included some baby sock monkeys as seen here.

Whimsie Doodles June Release

Woo hoo!!! It's the 5th of the month which means it's another Release Day over at Whimsie Doodles!

Yes, can you believe it? I chose the Mr. T Sock Monkey to showcase today. LOL He just makes me giggle at how silly the character and the show was. I know as I write this, I'm insulting all those 80s boys who loved Mr. T, but oh well. ;)
Mr. T is part of a big bunch of new sock monkey images that Whimsie has available.

My two favourite images are Miyako and May Lee as seen below.
Head on over to the Whimsie site and check out all the new images.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Have a great weekend.

Supplies:

Stamps - Mr. T digi (Whimsie Doodles)
Paper - Cosmo Cricket, Stampin Up

Ink - Colorbox (Clearsnap)

Accessories - Copic markers, brads (Bazzill), glitter pen, glitter glue (Studio G)

Whimsie Doodles Sneaks are going on!

Eeks! I don't have a project or sneak to show you today, but come back tomorrow for Release Day at Whimsie Doodles. Hopefully you're also commenting on the WD blog daily as you're eligible to win the images that are being peeked each day! ;)

I do however, want to show you just HOW GOOD Whimsie stamps look in a CD case. Melyssa designed her sets to perfectly fit inside of a cd case. The sets shown here are Every Other Day and Stitch'ems. Do make sure you come visit me tomorrow as I will have a project or two to show you!

Girly Fleur Anya

G’day, friends and happy 1st of June – I can’t believe that May just buzzed by!

My project for today is participating in the following challenges:
Paper Garden Projects’ 4th Friday – Frilly and Girly
Club Anya & Friends: Wild Card Wednesday – Pink Chocolate Roses
Whimsical Wednesday: Diedrich Dare Challenge - Sparkle
Raise the Bar – Sketch challenge as seen below:

My card uses the Fleur Anya image which was apart of the May release at The Greeting Farm. With Fleur, I also got Cuddle Anya, the Roll Call set and a few other adorable Sprouts! When they all arrived, I was basically jumping up and down from receiving my package. :D You see, now that the Canadian dollar is doing fairly well, it appears that many others are ordering from companies and stores down south. I think it’s taking Customs a longer time to process these parcels and packages and I had to wait a little while before TGF cuties arrived in my mailbox.

Hmmm I'm dissapointed with the way the photo turned out, this card is much more sparklier in person!

I hope you’re all having a good week and thanks for stopping by today.

Supplies:
Stamps – Fleur Anya (The Greeting Farm)
Paper – Bohemia (My Mind’s Eye) and cardstock (Bazzill)
Ink – Colorbox (Clearsnap), Memento (Tsukineko)
Accessories – Copic markers, flowers (Prima), brown pearls (Kaiser), glitter glue (Stickles), Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels), button (Basic Grey)
