Happy Hump Day!!!
First of all, I wanted to say thanks to Deloris, who gave me a nudge to pick a winner for my Birthday Blog Candy. I also wanted to thank each and everyone of you who took the time to become a follower and also commented on the post!! I felt like a rock star with each and every comment. The winner was picked below by random.org as seen below:
The lucky winner was Margo S. who said:
You are so sweet to give a gift in honor of YOUR birthday!!! Your special day is the day before my mom's - good people are born in August!!
LOL Yes, yes they are Margo! Go ahead and shoot me an email with your address, please.
My project that I wanted to share today turned out to be a little on the special side. A colleague of mine requested for me to make a card for his grandmother - my inspiration came from her like of birds. I know for the first couple of weeks I was stumped - but once I dug around in my images from Crafty Secrets and paper stash - I had the ideal supplies to work with.
I went a little bit crazy with the envelope as well (which I normally don't) but I thought it would be too plain for the card if the envelope wasn't decorated as well.
It's been a bit busy around here as usual and I hope to upload some photos of what's been going on. lol
Thanks for stopping by and take care until the next time. ;)
Supplies:
Stamps - Script background (Stampin Up), envelope (The Angel Company)
Paper - Stampin Up
Ink - Clearsnap (Colorbox)
Accessories - Lace punch (Martha Stewart), flowers (Prima), brads (unknown), flourish dies (Quickutz), distressing tool (Heidi Swapp)
