Back from the Holidays... and a project I didn't post earlier

Hello, friends! I do apologize from being away, but it was one of those times where I was super busy with my family and friends! How was your Christmas, did you get spoiled?! I want to hear all about it.

I will be back either today or tomorrow with my annual year end post. For now, I wanted to show the last of my holiday cards for 2009. I meant to show it off awhile ago but you know how I get so busy.

The card kind of speaks for itself; teachers need some warm holiday wishes as well. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by and do tell me about your Christmas event(s).

Mwahbella Birthday

Happy Friday! As the days draw closer to the Christmas holiday, I am more excited than ever for the weekends to come. I need to catch up on some much needed sleep.

How about you; how are your holiday preparations going? Have you bought all your presents, baked all your cookies and sent out your cards?!

I'm declaring another break from holiday cards and am posting a birthday card in protest! lol I have two colleagues at work who both had birthdays within the same week. I wanted to customize each card to match their personality. This particular Bella stamp was great because I replaced a different word to describe each of them. While this one has black hair, the other has red hair. They were both so fun to colour and embellish!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Supplies:
Stamps -Mwahbella with words; Stamping Bella, sentiment from Pink Cat Studio
Ink -Memento, Colorbox
Paper -Bazzill cardstock, Chatterbox patterned paper
Accessories -Copic markers, organdy and grosgrain ribbon, dew drops, Prima and Bazzill flowers, rhinestone gems, Heidi Swapp distresser, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Fiskars butterfly punch

Whimsie Doodles PCP Challenge #10

Note: This is my second post today, please scroll down to see the newest WD releases!

Nikki is the hostess with the mostest this past week at Paper Craft Planet. Nikki said: Santa Claus is coming to town and you know what that means.... if you want to make sure you stay on Santa's "NICE" list, you better get his favorite cookies ready for his visit to your house!

This week's challenge is called "Cookies for Santa"! All you need to do to participate is use a cookie shape (a.k.a. circle) in your card design... and of course, a Whimsie Doodles image!!

I kept my challenge card simple as I wanted to focus on the Snow Angel image. If this were a party, I'd be showing up fashionably late as tomorrow Kelly will be hosting a new challenge! Oops.

Supplies:
Paper - My Mind's Eye
Ink - Stampin Up
Accessories - Copic markers, Stickles glitter glue, Spellbinder's Nestabilities circles, organdy ribbon

Thanks for joining me as I showcase the newest releases of the Whimsie Doodles family.

The other new releases are shown below and I will be making projects using them in the near future ;)

Supplies:
Stamps - Ginger Muffin Whimsie Doodles, Stampendous sentiment
Paper - My Mind's Eye, Stampin Up cardstock

Whimsie Doodles Winter Inspiration

11 days til' Christmas - I can hardly believe it! Happy Monday and I hope that everyone had a great weekend.

I will admit that I'm a little behind with projects as I was prepping to mail all my Christmas cards out, but I do expect to be posting Whimsie Doodles new releases tomorrow! So make sure to check back with me tomorrow. If you want to see some sneak peeks and a chance to win some new images, go check out the WD blog.

Here are some Winter cards for inspiration. I worked on these while I was recovering from surgery and didn't have a chance to post until now.

Let the crazy Holiday season begin!

OI VEY!!! It's just been one of those weeks and I am so thankful that it's Friday. However, tonight begins my weekend of events; I have a party of some sort to go to every night of this weekend. *insert crazy face here*

I apologize for not posting anything sooner, but I have been prepping for the Holiday season. This past week, I have been trying to post out as many Christmas cards and packages as I can so that they get there by the 25th of December and what a task it has been!

I figured that I would take a small break away from showing your Christmas projects and show off these ATCs I made for a swap hosted by my good friend, Jennifer, at the Stamp Shack. They are a little bit on the vintage side, aren't they? I was kind of stuck on ideas for awhile and after many hours of playing around, I was happy with the end product.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a good weekend.

Supplies:
Stamps - Stampin Up sentiment, Autumn Leaves flourish
Paper - Ranger Gloss cardstock
Ink - Staz On, Ranger Alcohol
Accessories - Prima flowers, rhinestone gems, Tattered Angels chipboard and glimmer mist, brown ribbon
