Another PCS card and a quick summary

Another Pink Cat Studio image for you. Super quick update from me today. I just wanted to say thanks if you are reading this particular sentence right now. I'm not the most reliable person when it comes to updating or keeping up with posts. I've had some personal changes that I had to deal with over the past few months (as there always are). I realize that I'm young and will continue to grow and find new things about myself in the next while... and if you continue to stick with me, then I commend you on your efforts! I'm going to end on that note and will post the "recipe" of the card later.

A Wild Ride & the PCS Bug

I failed to mention my wild ride on Sunday, it was on my way to meeting Melissa. This photo was taken right after I got off the bus. The driver tried to gun the bus so that the tires would grip and move forward but instead we moved sideways and into the pole. Ha, and I thought that transit was safer than driving my own vehicle. Luckily the bus crashed only a block up from where I needed to be.

I've been bitten by the PCS bug, and it doesn't seem to wanna go away! lol. I made this card to try and get rid of my winter blah's. It did the trick, the card definitely makes me happy. I'm currently at work and will blog tomorrow about what I've been up to the past couple of months. Off for now, stay warm everyone!

Card recipe:
Stamps: Pink Cat Studio template 1, SU - Polka Dots & Paisley sentiment, Ink: SU Basic Black, Paper: Bazzill cardstock, PP is from a slab I got at Wal-Mart, Accessories: $1 brads, Marvy punches, Copic markers, Marvy glitter pen, Heidi Swapp gems, polkda dot organdy ribbon from a swap.

A New Friend

I got the chance to meet Melissa, the owner of Pink Cat Studio, yesterday morning. She used to live out in Ontario, but recently moved to British Columbia with her husband. Actually, she now lives about 15 minutes away from me! Melissa, you are a complete sweetheart and it was great to meet you, I'm looking forward to the next time I see you.

Do you know much about Pink Cat Studio? Melissa recently released two new sets of stamps seen below. I ordered the Tweet set myself, have them mounted, but not inked up. Haven't been able to find time to play, but you can bet that I can't wait! Stay tuned for next month's release... I've had a sneak peek and they are C-U-T-E!!!
