Winner..... ME!!!!

The winners were announced almost a week ago for Just Johanna's WCMD Challenges! I know, I'm super late to post... but when I saw this, I couldn't help but react like Elle Woods in Legally Blonde! LOL You know the scene where she lands the part of the hot shot lawyer's assistant, and she yells "MEEEEEEEE!!!" Yep, I totally did that. I am so thankful that Johanna held this challenge and I cannot wait to purchase my stamps. I downloaded the full catalog and will list what I am buying at a later date. Thanks again to everyone who participated, whether you were a host or a challenge participant - you made it fun! I did want to mention that I finally got around to editing the original card posts from WCMD and they all have their supplies listed below them. One thing done on the "to do list," hundreds more to go! ;)

Simply put, I am pooped and I dont ever want to make that many different cards again.... until the next WCMD ;) To all of you who took the challenge - I commence you and your efforts. Heck, who knew that there was such a day dedicated to making cards. To all those who hosted challenges, THANK YOU for such a fun and creative day(s)! WCMD - JJ Challenges, take 1

Hello everyone! Just a super quick post from me to upload my JJ challenges before the time runs out. Remember that I am away from home and am using my mom's work computer and time is money right now! I will not be able to name all the due supplies atm, but will do so upon my return home. I just need to get these up here! I made 12 cards altogether and will be splitting them into two posts to showcase them. If this takes awhile to load onto your computer, I apologize... No editing software! I wasnt even able to UL these to the JustJohanna gallery. Hmph. LOL I had limited supplies and could only take what I could that would fit into a suitcase.

Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend

Hi all and thanks so much for stopping by! I finished off my circle journal (one day late) and did manage to remember to take photos of my pages before I mailed it off. I should be getting the next round in a week or so. I will be posting the photos of my CJ after I come back.

Come back from where you ask? I decided to go visit my parents this weekend as it's the Cdn Thanksgiving. I wont be back until Monday or Tuesday... lol does that matter much since I probably wont even be posting until Wednesday?

Here are some Fall/Halloween cards to "tantalize" you during my absence ;)

I just love the new stamp release from Stampendous. I had to limit myself to one stamp from the Max line or else I would have scooped them all up! I followed the Splitcoast Stampers SC110 sketch and I'm really not sure if I like how the card turned out. I think the problem is the fact that I used muted earth colours instead of my usual brights. It's something that I am still getting used to.
