I finally dragged myself to the walk-in clinic today... and somehow managed to swindle a 3 hour wait down to 15 minutes! Anyway, the dr. said that I basically caught some nasty virus that the majority had 2 weeks ago. Go me for being late. She says it generally lasts 2 weeks, so I should be fully recovered by Easter weekend! ......... Hello, that's next week! sigh, these are the days of Thanh. I guess my sickness was long overdue as I haven't been this ill in the past 2 years. No need for pity, but send me good vibes as I am going through my last week of school and have a kajillion things that need to be handed in of course.

Upcoming swaps
This card is for Heather's (hbpuppy) baby card swap. I absolutely adore a*muse images and fell in love with this one when I saw it at a LSS. I was unsure of the ribbon in the beginning but loved it after the card was put together. I wanted to make a gender neutral baby card because I don't like to fall in with the pink/blue stereotype... okay, well I admit that I do, but wanted to make a card for those "who didn't know the sex of the baby yet." Why must society fall into the blue/pink traps anyway? *shrug* lol I know, this is probably not the place to vent about gender stereotypes. Supplies used: a*muse stamps, Bazzill cs, Sandylion pp, Marcy scalloped oval punch, ribbon from lss(unknown), Fiskars hole punch, Whispers markers, Versacolor and Ancient Page inks.
This is my first ever atc! Tami (teabear) and I made a deal where if she joined my atc swap, I would join hers. It was such an awesome tradeoff as I loved this serendipity technique. It made play like a child; gluing anything, anywhere I wanted. Of course it had to be a girly too, would I have done it any other way? lol Perhaps a little too girly though. I have a the oddest feeling I will become an atc addict...Supplies used: Michael's $1 stamps ($1.50 in Canada!), Stamping Bella flower stamp, Bazzill cs, Sandylion pp, Versacolor ink, Prima flowers.

Back and happy snappy.
My week in review:
- dbf arrives on Wednesday
- We arrive at my parents on Thursday...
- I have a sore throat all through Thurs/Fri.
- I wake up Saturday morning unable to move and without a voice
- We come back home on Sunday
- dbf leaves me on Tuesday
I don't know what happened... but having no voice and body aching on Saturday meant it was a day spent on the couch. Boo. I'm still fairly sick today... even broke down and bought a bottle of Buckley's. Yuck, that stuff really tastes nasty. But overall, I had a good visit with my parents. I love going back to my bedroom at home, my own bed is still one of the most comfortable I have slept on in my life.
Oh yes... something else to share. My parents live about a 5 min drive away from an M's. Did a tiny bit of damage there... besides the fact that dbf bought me a Cuttlebug! I am so happy that the thing cuts my QK dies as well. Yippie!

Oh! Im still amazed that such a little person can have such a big voice. She was amazing as I expected her to be.

Mouse Swaps
GUESS WHAT I AM DOING TONIGHT?
I am going to the Christina Aguilera concert! I have been waiting for months (technically years) to go to her concert. I am SUPER excited... although I have been so busy with my life that I sort of forgot up until two weeks ago. Shhh! It wasnt my fault, my friend bought us the tickets so I never had them as a reminder.
Alrighty, so these cards are for a swap that I am hosting over at the Stamp Shack. The theme was mouse/mice and this is what I came up with:

The images took stinkin forever to colour in though!Supplies used: Great Impressions stamp, Karen Foster pp, Bazzill cs, Making Memories white snaps, ribbon from my LSS, Ancient Page and Versacolor inks, Prismacolors and odourless mineral spirits.

And now I can go pee-pee
LOL. What an interesting title I've picked... but it's so true!
I just sat myself down for a little under an hour to read all your blogs. I had go to the bathroom, but I told myself that I wouldn't go until I read all of them. Ta da - I did.
You dont understand the pain I'm in right now. I would not recommend setting such a goal.

I'm late, I'm late...
...for a very important date!
Happy belated Birthday Michelle!
I hope that your day was fantastic and will continue to be so as the year continues.
Just as a sidenote, Michelle also picked my card to be one of the two winners on her blog challenge. Yay! You can see it here.
