Hi, my name is Thanh and Im a procrastinator.
I should be writing a paper right now, but ai yaaaa. I was obviously doing something else. I blame Michelle! lol She posted a black/white challenge. I received the Stinkin Cute images from a fellow Shackie and have not used them since. More than grateful now to do something with them. Do you see that lopsided daisy stamp? It's a Stamping Bella design... yes, Emily does create more than just the Bella girls. ;) I embossed the daisies on though! Makes them just pop right off the page.Supplies used:
Stampin' Up and Stamping Bella stamps, Bazzill cs, white brads unknown, Tsukineko embossing powder, Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink.

Red/Pink swap
I am finally recovered from my slump, but currently in the middle of my midterms! School is kicking my butt right now (as it always does), so I rarely have time to sit down and be creative. :( But I did want to post that I am overall fine and back to normal. Thank you all for your good wishes!
I participated in my first swap ever over at the Stamp Shack. It was a red/pink Friends Valetines swap that I received back about 2 weeks. I have been meaning to post it, but you all should know how it goes by now! I am so amazed that even though we all had a theme to follow, everyone's card is so different. I loveeees swapping. My card was the Bella card I showed you here. Without further much ado, here we go:

Poof.... and he's magically dissapeared.
I received a bouquet of flowers on Valentine's Day... and given how I feel about buying flowers on this day, from my last post, I yelled. He said he knew that I would, but wanted to get them because I haven't received flowers in awhile. Okay, I melted just a little. heheheI haven't been myself the last couple of days. I have been posting less (on forums and on blogs) and keeping to myself. Definitely more reserved irl as well with my friends. He left me on Thursday and I have been pretty upset ever since. I didn't realize that it would be such a short trip. I realize that I should be grateful that he came at all, but it just didn't seem like enough time together. I just feel so empty and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Blog Candy Winner
I asked Andy to pick a number between 1-26 and he chose 18...
Congratulations to the 18th comment who happens to be JoAnn. She left me a comment saying:
We were snowed/iced in for 3 days so I made dh a card and cooked a frozed lazagna which he loved. Last night our pipes froze so we were without water. We can finally get out of the garage so I will go and get his gift today which will be a gift card to Starbucks. I received a day at the spa.
Hope you all had a great day and if not I hope today will be special day for you. JoAnn

Happy Valentine's Day
Blog Candy!!
Happy Valentine's or Singles-Awareness Day ladies! I have a love/hate relationship with this day. I love the fact that it is a single day where you should be reminding those you love that you care about them, etc. What I cannot stand is the mass commercialization of it. Now dont get me wrong, this doesn't include our handmade lovelies, but I get kind of sick walking in the department stores filled floor to ceiling with red and white. Why does a bouquet of roses need to be $3197528 when it was $29 last week? //End rant session. Please don't think that I'm a hater or negative person - this is just my personal opinion on it.
So back to this blog candy! Leave me a comment here with your thoughts on Valentine's Day or what you plan on doing today (or did do in some cases). I will randomly pick a winner the night of Friday, February 16th. The winner will receive the Fab Flowers + Sassy Sequins packages from Queen & Co. I bought these months ago and they have been in my drawar untouched until today. They are better off with you! Good luck to all!
Edit I have plans to go out Friday night, so I will probably not post a winner until Saturday.

Flabbergasted... twice!
The majority of you don't know that Andy and I are in a long distance relationship. It's been like this for 2.5 years. The last time I saw him was in September and I didn't think we would see each other anytime soon... until Sunday night when he knocked on my window (I live in a basement suite, so he can't come to my door as I wont hear him!). Completely flabbergasted!
Yesterday was awesome too as I went to Customer Appreciation Night at one of the LSS. I was invited as one of the top 100 customers at Remember Me Scrapbooking. Me, top 100? Who woulda thunk? lol. The customers were treated with a veggies platter, a fruit platter, and a yummy frosted cake. Not only were we fed, we were able to make 5 different make n' takes as pictured below. No wait, one is missing as it was a decorated cookie that is now in my tummy. hehehe.

One last thing to share... I also entered 5 of my cards in Remember Me's Valentines Day contest where they were up for a random drawing. I received a phonecall this morning from one of the ladies saying that my card was picked! I won a $50 gift certificate. YAY!!! What luck! This will help alot as I have taken an oath not to buy this month! To celebrate my happiness, I think I wanna give away some blog candy! Make sure to check back in with my blog tomorrow to see what's posted.

Sniffles... no mail?
Pooey!!! I didn't get one piece of "cool" mail this week. I guess I kind of exhausted that last week, when I got my Prismacolors and etc. But not one thing this week besides Mastercard telling me that "there was a discrepancy with my card and that they sent me a new one to use." Um... a little bit of a scary thought. I checked my online balances right away and nothing out of the ordinary showed. Just a bunch of transactions at the grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Michael's, and other LSS. *Gasp* Wait a minute.... LSS!!! Who put those transactions on there - not I! lol.
Anyway... I do expect a lot of mail this week as I am waiting for my order from Close to My Heart and Stampin' Up to arrive. What else? Friends from the Stamp Shack have pm'd me to let me know that their swaps are in the mail... Won a stamp from Angie last week too. Yooray, I hope it's going to be a fun a week. I will need it as my midterms are coming up. Cannot let the new toys interfere with school either, though it will be tempting.
Nothing new to post... I've kind of been on a slump after my Valentine's post. sniff. Hopefully I'll sneak in time to play this week.

Valentine's Day
I wish I could make all occasion cards all year, but I guess I'm really not that well rounded. Now that Valentine's is just around the corner, everything I've been doing is red/pink/white/black. The only one card I made this week that wasn't Valentine themed was for Christie's Bella swap that I can't show you yet. Both of the following cards are for swaps I am in from the Stamp Shack.
I had so much fun with this Bella! Loveybella is one of Emily's recent creations and when I saw her, I completely fell in love with her (not that I don't love the other Bella's!). But I thought she was perfect for my Valentines Cards.
I am lovin' the a*muse stamps! Had to pick up Piggy and Petunia with the "oh-la-la." They will be used over and over again, I'm sure.

What a week!
It all started with checking out a new LSS store in the area... Technically not new by any means, but it was new to us in that it was our first time there. As luck would have it, they were having a patterned paper sale. I was a good girl and picked up only a small amount! If you have not heard, I have taken an oath to not buy anything that is more than absolutely necessary in February! I hope I can survive... I really, really do.
Some of these colour schemes are out of my norm, but I thought it would be good to explore outside of my comfort zone.
Have you ever seen a more beautiful site? LOL My Prisma's finally came in the mail. I had to pay an extra $18 in duties, but it was still cheaper than buying in Canada.
Kaylyn was kind enough to have me over at her house on Tuesday and this was what I left with! Thank you so much Kay!
To end my week, my $1 Rhonna Farrer stamps came from Angie (finally!) We were both surprised that it took 9 whole days to get here. I was getting really worried. Is that not the cutest itty bitty card you've seen? I think the stamped image is also another $1RF stamp right, Angie? So much to play with, but when will I have all the time? *damsel in distress*
